PPG Transport Imaging Awards

M is for Mainstream

PPG logo.jpgAs has been the case for its near 20-year history, the central element of the livery for Auckland-based logistics and freight company Mainstream’s fleet remains the four stars of the Southern Cross.

But in the latest look, sported by the company’s recently-launched Freightliner Argosys, the word Mainstream on the cabs and aerofoils has also given way to a single M.

It demonstrates the firm’s growing visibility and confidence in its market...and, more importantly, offers a greater visual impact than trying to fit the whole name in confined spaces.

It also earns the company status as our February finalist in the annual PPG Transport Imaging Awards.

The move to the M, says Mainstream founder Greg Haliday, is the final step in a rebranding exercise which has seen the original white curtainsiders of the trucks replaced by the firm’s distinctive dark green base colour….and follows the adoption five years ago of a stylised orbital crescent, representing a move into international freight.
