High-end GPS designed for truck fleets
Cambridge-based King Communications Group is marketing a high-end GPS product range designed for heavy transport fleet operators.
King says that though it will continue to support the Navman GPS range used by some of its existing customers, it has selected leading Australian GPS provider, MTData, as its premier offering for NZ heavy transport fleet operators.
So far, King has installed MTData GPS equipment in 11 fleets, including Envirowaste, Regal, Lambert and RFH.
“A lot of our success is based around the fact that all of our units are quad-band, so will work on either Telco’s network providing GPS/Data and integrated software-controlled voice calling, removing the need for RTs or cellphones,” says King’s Business Development Manager, James Barnes.
